JOIN SUNFLOWER SAFETY COUNCIL MEMBERS FOR THEIR ANNUAL FUNDRAISING EVENT!!
They are having a picnic lunch/meeting & tours of the Kansas Underground Salt Museum, 3504 E. Ave. G., Hutchinson, KS on September 18, 2012 at 11:30 a.m.
Lunch will begin at 11:30 a.m. Here are some details for you!
- Hutchinson Salt Company, Hutchinson, KS generously donated the cost of the fee for the fundraiser to be held at the museum. Thank you Hutchinson Salt Company!!!
- Underground Vaults and Storage, Hutchinson, KS has offered us a free tour of their facilities. Thank you Lee Spence!!
- The train ride and the dark ride through the museum will cost $4.00 per person, per ride, with a dollar of that going directly to the Sunflower Safety Council. Everyone attending pays for their own ride tickets.
Very IMPORTANT- The hoist goes underground at 1:00 pm, so everyone must be ready to leave by 12:45 pm. This is so the museum can get an accurate count of our group; our $200 fee covers a maximum of 100 people. Please be prompt so we can leave as a group!
Lunch is being catered by Hog Wild BBQ. They are kindly seeking donations to assist with the expenses associated with the luncheon. A special thank you to Cornejo Materials for their contribution.
APAC-Kansas Shears has kindly donated all the paper good, beverages and ice.
They are seeking donations for desserts such as cookies, brownies, etc.
They will be having a Raffle. Raffle Ticket prices are as follows: tickets are $1.00 each. We have bundles for sale as well, 6 tickets for $5.00, 12 tickets for $10 and 25 tickets for $20.00.
They are kindly seeking donations for give aways. Please consider donating those as well, belt buckles, hats, gift cards to restaurants or stores, jackets, flashlights, tools, etc.
