Join the Kansas Aggregate Producers Association – Kansas Ready Mixed Concrete Association for the latest information on concrete pavement design and concrete specification. Brian Killingsworth, P.E., National Ready Mixed Concrete Association Executive Vice President Local Paving, will lead the program. Brian will instruct on the new comprehensive concrete pavements design program PavementDesigner.Org. This web-based program combines updated versions of several design methodologies into a user friendly one-stop site for road, street, parking, and intermodal pavements. It includes modules for traditional concrete, concrete overlays, soil-cement, and roller compacted concrete. Bring your laptops for this complete training session. The program will also feature Michelle Wilson, Portland Cement Association Director of Concrete Technology. Michelle serves on ASTM C94 Standard Specification for Ready-Mixed Concrete Committee and Chairs ACI 301 Specification for Structural Concrete Committee. She will address critical considerations for concrete specification and the practical impact specs have on materials, mix designs, placement, and performance. We are delighted to have these two nationally recognized experts on our programs, please plan to attend.

There is no charge for PavementDesigner.Org, it is a free web-based program. Parking at Salina Tech on the 14th is in front of the building or directly across the street in the lot to the left. Attendees will receive a certificate for 3.0 PDH at the conclusion of the event. Watch for April 3rd & 4th program information on Concrete Surface Characteristics which will detail the effects of placement, finishing, texture, curing, sawing and jointing. The April sessions will also feature Life Cycle Cost Analysis presentation and discussion.
