Coordinating ready mixed concrete association initiatives at the state, regional and national levels produces synergies that increase effectiveness and reduce costs. In these challenging economic times, it is more important than ever to ensure that the resources of our industry are being put to the best use possible to position concrete as the construction material of choice.
Regional Work Plan Meetings help us to achieve this goals through a review of initiatives and programs at the state, regional and national level, accompanied by open honest dialogue about the issues facing our industry. Gathering together the paid and elected leadership of all of the ready mixed associations in your region as well as the leadership of the PCA Regional Groups, American Concrete Pavement Association chapters and NRMCA, coordinates our efforts and work plans, as well as improving communication between us all.
This year’s meeting will include discussions on topics such as:
- 1. Continued roll-out of results from the Concrete Sustainability Hub at Massachusetts Institute of Technology
- 2. Local paving such as streets & local roads, parking areas, overlays, intersections and pervious
- 3. Residential & commercial concrete promotion
- 4. Federal regulatory issues affecting our industry and government activism
- 5. Key issues and/or initiatives at the local or regional level – what’s going on, new tools or resources, etc.
- 6. If you have any additional topics you would like to see added to the agenda, please let us know.

Please note there is no registration fee to participate in the Regional Work Plan Meeting, but RSVP’s are needed to ensure appropriate meeting arrangements to accommodate the group.
